Here is the last of several postings of infrastructure projects<http://leg.mt.gov/bills/2017/billpdf/SB0367.pdf> that DIED when Republican kamikazes in the Montana House led by feckless Speaker Austin Knudsen once again crashed on the bonding-to-build deck:

When introduced, SB 367<http://leg.mt.gov/bills/2017/billpdf/SB0367.pdf> proposed funding on a priority basis 50 quality school facility projects . . . but when the bill died maybe only the first 30 listed above would have been funded. Still a significant number, $16.3m number. This is the second session in a row wherein an Austin Knudsen led legislature has failed to fund the quality school facility grant program.
Here again are the legislators who voted NO<http://bit.ly/2ppCNcS>. (Or were just absent for the vote . . . which amounts to the same thing, NO.) It's hard to figure why so many legislators would vote so clearly against the interests of their own local public schools. Reelect these legislators or elect folks like them in 2018 and we will get more of the same.
